![]() *Genshin Impact 89% stability in lowest graphics settings and 73% stability in highest graphics settings, minor heating issues and managable framedrops when clashing and rendering. *NBA2K20 (ALL MAX SETTINGS plus 90Hz support) 99% top notch stability. *CODM (VERY HIGH/VERY HIGH fps) 96% stability. *Genshin Impact 91% stability in lowest graphics possible and 74% stability in the highest graphics settings then heats like a frying pan in 3 minutes. ![]() *NBA2K20 (ALL MAX SETTINGS) 98% stability and minor hiccups. I've tried Realme 6 with MTKG90T and Realme 6 Pro with SD720G, same buttery smooth performance but G90T is a lil bit aggressive than 720G in terms of graphics but hey 720G sweeps the hell out of G90T when it comes to endurance and efficiency, Here is my own opinion in gaming stability. Less power consumption along with better thermals means longer gaming time plus originally optimized in any game than G90T because developers optimize their games more often in snapdragon processors than helio. Yes absolutely but for me SD720G is still 20% better than MTKG90T. The 732, 778G, and other low-power SoCs fabbed by Samsung won't overheat because they only have high-efficiency cores, and if they have a 2.4 GHz, it's just Cortex-A7X, but overclocked to perfection and not aggressively. ![]() However, it isn’t as power-efficient as the Snapdragon 710, 712, or 730 so you should expect slightly lower battery life. In our Processor Rankings, it is way ahead of Snapdragon 712 and comes very close to Snapdragon 730 (or even beats it in some of the tasks). ![]() The reason why I didn't mention any other Samsung-fabbed Qualcomm SoC is that they use less power compared to the 888/888+ and the 8 Gen 1 they don't have an ultra-core that is power-hungry and makes a lot of heat. The MediaTek Helio G90T is an exceptionally powerful chip for mid-range devices. Lowering the clockspeed is lowering the battery usage, heat generation, and other things, but if the chip is fabricated by Samsung, like the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888/888+ and the 8 Gen 1, there's no hope because lowering the clockspeed won't do anything except reduce the performance because Samsung's fab uses more layers compared to TSMC's. More cores don't mean it's better because graphics optimization is also important because if you don't have the driver for that specific GPU, which in this case is an Arm G76 3EEMC4, the GPU will be underpowered compared to the Adreno 616 in some games, thus making frame drops happen more often.Ī lower GPU clock does not mean it's better, because the more modern Adreno 600 usually has a lower GPU clock than the Arm Mali-G series GPU, but they can outperform some Arm Mali-G GPUs. ![]()
